Eddie Redmayne for Daily Telegraph
TAKE MEEEEE NOOOOOW
You do things to me..
Such a beauty.
I watched this last night. I was kinda disappointed with Chloe’s performance. She has so much promise; I just want to see more from her. She lacked that spitfire, badass element that she brought to Hit Girl in Kick-Ass. The rest of the film also kinda fell short, as well. That is, except, for the performances of Blake Lively and Eddie Redmayne. Let’s get one thing straight. I HATE Blake Lively. There are various reasons why and I won’t get into that right now. But, let’s just make the point that I usually despise any of the work she has done. But, what she did with this character really surprised me. I think she did amazing!! She really changed my mind with this performance. It’s the first time I’ve seen her become a whole different person. She left everything about herself behind and really just engulfed herself in Glenda and that’s what makes it so believable. (Granted that is what an actor is supposed to do in the first place for any role but I’ll give her this one). As for Eddie, there are just no words for Eddie’s talent. I’ve been a huge fan of his since Like Minds in 2006. He has got some crazy skills. The way he can milk a character for all its worth is quite astounding. His ability to manipulate emotions reminds me of Andrew Garfield, and his ability to do the same thing. Total A+ acting skills.

UGH so all this Eddie Redmayne on my dash has made me desperately want to watch Like Minds: Murderous Intent but I came home for Memorial Day weekend and my DVD copy is at my apartment..
